Capri and the coast are

people who arrive from Capodichino by plain it’s available a shuttle service.
There are comfortable and big buses from the airport to Piazza Municipio,
situated near Molo Beverello. (LINK TO THE BUSES SCHEDULES). People
who arrive in Rome can go to the Termini Station by bus or metro (subway) and
here take the train for the Napoli Central Station. Then, from Napoli it’s
possible arrive at Molo Beverello by bus or taxi. Often
people arrive in Mergellina Railway Station.
From Mergellina Station, walking 5 minutes, it’s possible to arrive at
Molo Beverello and here take the ship for Capri. (LINK TO MERGELLINA SCHEDULES).
Moving
in Capri
Except
in full summer period, it is very easy to move in Capri using the local means of
transports.
Nearly a century has passed since the Funicolare service
links the famous ‘piazzetta’ (this Italian tern stands for little
square) to Marina Grande port. It runs every fifteen minutes from 6:30 a.m. to
10:15 p.m. (check the timetable for summer or winter time). It takes about three
minutes and the ticket cost is L. 1.800.
The several zones of the island can be reached taking the SIPPIC minibuses
service. To those who prefer to stop and admire the marvellous island landscapes,
we suggest to have a trip on the typical local taxi (link to Taxi Capri).
The links to Grotta Azzurra and to Punta Carena are granted by the Staiano bus
service. (timetable)
