winds, temperature is made more agreeable by the big sea that surrounds it.”
In this way Tacitus described Capri
climate in his “Annales”, that modern recording confim entirely.
Average temperatures indicate 13,1°
C in winter and 13,9° C in autumn; 16,5 in spring and 22,7 in summer even
if following the climatic twisting that concerns the whole globe, in the
last years extreme temperatures are frequent both in summer (30° C) and
in winter (2-0° C).
From
the point of view of the climate, the best periods to visit the isle are
from April to June and in September and October.
