Taking a pleasant stroll of 20 minutes, you can easily reach the Arco Naturale, (The Natural Arch) and enjoy relaxed atmosphere of the place: after leaving the little square, you walk down via Tiberio (Tiberio road) and once reached the crossroads you just go straight up via Matermania (Matermania road). The Natural Arch is one of the attractions offered by Capri: it is formed by the remnants of a vault of a deep, hight and subterranean hollow. Then, owing to the sliding down of the cliff, it came the surface and little by little it was destroyed by the crumbling of the loose rock. An impressive 12 meters large and 18 meters high is what remains of the original vault after the steep slant which caused the landslide of the front and of the middle part: it seems a natural bridge between two rocky pillars. Behind it, three wonderful natural background are well worthseeing for their overhanging cliffs and rocks, especially in a sunny day.
